Multimodal and Multilingual Finance

Financial information appears in text, tables, charts and speech across languages. A multimodal or multilingual system should be assessed on which signals it actually uses and how well evaluation covers each setting.

How to read this literature

  • Check alignment between text, audio, chart and numerical inputs.
  • Compare performance by language or modality rather than only an aggregate score.
  • Look for missing-modality tests, translation artifacts and geographic or market coverage limits.

The foundation-model and benchmarks guides provide context for evaluating transfer beyond the training language or modality.
